About College Prep
College. It's what you're here for. The moment you enrolled at Marianapolis you took the first step towards your post-secondary school career. No matter what stage in the process you are at now — a freshman looking at schools or a senior sifting through your decisions — the College Prep mobile app is designed to make the whole experience easier and more enjoyable. The College app utilizes all of the tools you're familiar with, such as Naviance and the Common App, and combines them with additional technologies to keep you more connected than ever. Remember, it's never too early to get started!
Events
The Events tab is where you can keep up with everything college-related here on campus. Whether the College Fair is coming up,
or one of the many Lunch & Learns that run throughout the year, the Events tab has everything you'll need.
Each time you open the app, the first
thing you're greeted with is our interactive list of upcoming events. Below that you'll find links to some truly great features. Tap "College Fair" to view
details about the event such as attending institutions and a floor map (if available). Or tap "Lunch and Learns" to see a list of upcoming sessions and
sign up in just seconds. And then there's DISC. DISC allows you to scan a school's unique QR code to request more information from them. All of this and
more is available under this one tab.
Explore
The Explore tab contains all of the information you need to start searching for colleges and scholarship opportunities. This
section contains information about the colleges themselves, their athletic programs and recruitment processes, financial aid, and more.
Included in this section is our custom-built college search tool. You can search over 7,000 different institutions in the US and Canada and add your
favorites to your My Colleges list. Keep track of which schools you're thinking about and which one's you're applying to, and let the College Cloud
sync your list across all of your devices. Want more information from a specific school? No problem! DISC is a service that allows you to request more
information from participating institutions. Simply fill out a basic profile and share it with the colleges and universities that you're interested in.
Testing
As you go through the college admissions process, there are a number of tests you will either need to take or should really consider taking.
These include the SATs, SAT Subject Tests, ACTs, APs and more. We understand that with all these tests to take, there can be a lot
to keep track of. The Testing tab gives you access to all the resources you will need to successfully prepare for, register, and view your scores from
these tests.
Apply
Ready to finally apply to college? If so, you'll find that the Apply tab has everything you need to stay on top of your applications. This
portion of the app links you directly with Naviance, the Common App, and financial aid programs such as the Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) and the
Collegeboard's CSS Profile. Everything you need is just a tap away and it's never too early to get started.
